Our Staterooms
Step aboard the Ocean Mist and discover a bar unlike any other in Edinburgh.
Nestled on the historic waters of Leith, our bar and lounge combine timeless maritime elegance with modern comfort.
Whether you’re joining us for a relaxed afternoon drink, a pre-dinner aperitif, or an evening with friends, you’ll find the perfect setting on board.
Joseph Hobbs
Positioned at the very bow of the ship on the Main Deck, the Joseph Hobbs Stateroom is the most spacious aboard. The only cabin to feature a free-standing copper bathtub, it also showcases the original anchor chain holders, now adorned with decorative rope. With a generous seating area for up to five guests and a private ensuite, this stateroom combines maritime character with indulgent luxury.
Kenelm Guinness
Tucked just below the bridge, the Guinness Stateroom — known as the “Captain’s Cabin” — boasts sweeping 270° views of Leith’s historic Water of Leith. Step outside to your own private seating area on the forecastle deck, perfect for summer drinks with friends or a quiet moment watching the basin. A rare blend of seclusion, views, and charm, this is a space fit for a captain.
Steering Flat
An unforgettable cabin that celebrates the Ocean Mist’s engineering heritage, the Steering Flat Stateroom surrounds the ship’s original 1919 triple-expansion steam engine. Located on the lower deck, it offers unique views directly into the engine room, as well as glimpses of the ship’s elegant swan-tail stern. Atmospheric, characterful, and steeped in history, this cabin is a true one-of-a-kind experience.
